HOW MUCH CAN I BORROW FROM CAPFIN?

We offer loans from $500 to $3,000 to help with all kinds of expenses including car repairs, medical bills, rent, bond, dental work, even that trip to Bali!

HOW MUCH DOES A CAPFIN LOAN COST?

It all depends on how much you would like to borrow and the period of time you would like to take the loan over.

The loan calculator on our homepage allows you to select your loan amount and then displays what your repayments would be over different terms. If you choose to repay your loan before the scheduled end date you will not be penalised. There are no early payout fees with Capfin loans. Apply Now

AM I ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR A CAPFIN LOAN?

To apply for a Capfin loan you need to be:

  • A permanent Australian resident
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Paid $450 or more a week into your bank account
  • Not In bankruptcy or part 9 agreement

ARE ANY DOCUMENTS REQUIRED WITH MY APPLICATION?

When you apply for a Capfin loan you will need to provide us with a copy of your Photo ID, last 90 days bank statements and your Centrelink statement (if applicable). For your convenience you can submit these required documents electronically.

We provide a secure service on our website called CreditSense that you can use to easily access your bank and Centrelink statements.  If you prefer you can upload these directly to our website, email or fax them to us. Your Photo ID will need to be uploaded to our site or sent to us by MMS or email.

DOES CAPFIN DO CREDIT HISTORY CHECKS?

As part of our assessment of your application we conduct a credit check. But don’t worry if you have a default on your file as we may still be able to help you depending on the circumstances. We cannot lend to you if you are currently in bankruptcy or Part IX debt agreement.

CAN I APPLY FOR A CAPFIN LOAN IF I RECEIVE CENTRELINK BENEFITS?

 Yes, if you receive Centrelink benefits and your total weekly income exceeds $450 you may still be eligible for a Capfin loan. 

WHEN WILL I KNOW IF I AM APPROVED?

We make sure to keep you updated on the progress of your loan application through regular emails and SMS. If conditionally approved we will contact you to let you know the good news so you can sign your contract online and receive your funds.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET MY LOAN FUNDED?

Capfin loans are generally funded overnight, our process is designed to be quick and convenient.  If your loan is approved and signed by 3:00pm AEST, on banking days, your funds will be transferred to your bank account overnight. ARE THERE ANY FEES CHARGED IF I PAY OUT MY LOAN EARLY?

No, there are no hidden fees or charges associated with a Capfin small personal loan.  All charges are disclosed upfront within your contract and there is no penalty fee if you choose to pay out your loan early.

WILL I BE ABLE TO REFINANCE MY EXISTING LOAN?

HOW DO I MAKE REPAYMENTS ON MY CAPFIN LOAN?

Loan repayments are scheduled to suit your pay dates and are direct debited from your nominated bank account either weekly or fortnightly.
